These ministries are active year-round.  We will happily take new help at any time.

 

First United Food Pantry

All are welcome to volunteer at our food pantry in the church. The pantry is open year-round:
2nd & 4th Mondays, 9am to 12pm
2nd & 4th Wednesdays, 1pm to 4pm

Lutheran World Relief

There are seasonal collections for LWR, like personal care items and school supplies.
To help, look for notices when these collections start.

Prayer Group

Meet for prayer on Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m., lifting up the needs of those in the congregation, community and the world.

Food Pantry Donations

At any time, bring in non-perishable food items to be given away
for local hunger needs.

Dream it.

Deliver meals to homebound people in Sheboygan once or twice a month from 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Laundry Love

On the first Wednesday of each month, go to a local laundromat and provide assistance for designated families to complete loads of laundry.

Christmas in July

Help sort donated school supplies for local children in need.

Adopt-A-Family

Provide leadership to this program that assists Sheboygan-area families in need at Christmas time through gifts and food gift cards.

Load LWR Semi-Truck

Help load boxes of supplies onto a semi-truck
one Saturday in October.

ASP Mission Trip

Each summer, join our group of high school students and adults to create warmer, safer and drier homes in the Appalachia region of the United States for families in need.

Appalachia Service Project (ASP) is a Christian ministry, open to all people, that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair and replacement in Central Appalachia.

Feed My Starving Children

Be involved with FMSC by assisting with fundraising and planning the annual MobilePack.

All are invited to volunteer during our annual
MobilePack held in the spring. These packaged meals feed people around the world.

Homebound Deliveries

Each Christmas and Easter, deliver flowers to our members that are homebound.
